<h4>Spring season completion status:  Corn planted 99%,  Soybeans 95%, Milo 100%</h4>
<p>&#8230;  another dry weather forecast for the week and heating up (mid-80&#8242;s by end of week)</p>
<p>&#8230; really could use some rain but none in the forecast until next week</p>
<p>&#8230; as you can see, we are essentially finished with planting, just a few small patches to complete</p>
<h5>Activities planned for week of May 14:</h5>
<ul type="disc">
<li>Finish planting</li>
<li>Two sprayers running full time, all week for post corn planting chemical application</li>
<li>Start bushhogging roadsides</li>
<li>Begin end of season maintenance and prepare for storage</li>
<li>Get the shop back &#8220;in order&#8221; after being in the fields so much of the time over the last 8 weeks</li>
</ul>
<h5>Activities completed week of May 7:</h5>
<p>&#8230; last week was very productive as we were in the fields working every day</p>
<ul>
<li>planted some corn and about 1,000 acres of soybeans</li>
<li>planted all of the milo</li>
<li>sprayed the planted corn acres</li>
<li>applied &#8220;side dress&#8221; fertilizer on corn acres</li>
